Planning for the 2025 Rental Season
The two months after New Years is always time for business and growth for our party rental company. We spend time reviewing 2024 and planning out goals for 2025. Part of that is planning and making our major inventory purchases for the new season. Highlight Event Rentals is entering our third full year of business. After doubling our business in 2024 we are again looking to double our business in 2025. This is going to be be a challenge for us as doubling our output will require improvements in both inventory and company structure.
New Offerings for 2025
We started making our first big capital purchases at the end of 2024 and have been wrapping them up over the past month. Highlight Event Rentals is focused on three main paths going forward:
- Increase our current offerings by 75% to serve even more clients
- Add larger offerings to expand on our wedding and corporate markets
- Replace current inventory on a continual basis to make sure our equipment is “A” grade
Focusing on these three goals will allow us to remained focused on what we’ve been doing so well and at the same time move into larger markets and setups while maintaining the quality of our company.
In our first major purchases of the new season, we doubled our inventory of existing tents, tables and chairs. This includes 20 new graduation party tents, 9 new High Peak frame tents, 600 new basic folding chairs, 50 new folding tables and a new waterproof dance floor. We will also continue to add additional inventory over the year to fill this out such as side walls, additional lighting options and cocktail tables. Further, we added a larger tent to our inventory – a 30×30 high peak frame tent – which will allow us to do larger events and will also allow us to expand in a modular fashion into a 30×50 and 30×70 footprint. We will continue adding larger tents throughout the 2025 season including a 40×40 tent, 40×60 tent and 40×80 tent to increase our capabilities.
Improvements for our 2025 season
Adding inventory is great but we have also been focused on quality. In 2024 we took the time to sell off all of our older items that we’ve had for several years and replace them. In addition to our new items, this means we are heading into 2025 with 99% of our offerings brand new or less than one year old. Quality is a big focus of ours and will continue to be going forward so we’re proud to be able to provide this for our clients.
In addition to all of this, we have undertaken huge a huge re-organization. Prior to 2025 we had one installation crew. For this next season we will split and have 2 crews. With the addition of a 18′ box truck to our fleet in 2024, we can now field 2 full crews which will double our capabilities and allow us to join together an install larger setups quicker.
